Carol's Baby Pantry

Our Mission

To assist parents in raising healthy children during times of crisis through early intervention, education and support.

History

Carol’s Baby Pantry has been in existence since 2002. It was founded by Carol Schmidt and Doris Eshelman. They saw a need to assist parents in raising healthy children by providing education, intervention, support, and material necessities. Carol’s Baby Pantry is able to continue the work through the generosity of its leaders, the volunteers, financial support from individuals, the community of churches, organizations, and businesses.

Items Available

The following items are available to infants and toddlers aged 0-3 in need.

  • Clothing (clean, gently used)
  • Formula
  • Baby food
  • Cereal
  • Diapers
  • Bedding
  • High chairs
  • Strollers
  • Toys
  • Books

Pregnant?

Mothers in the 3rd trimester of pregnancy, and in need, may receive diapers and clothes

Hours of Distribution

2nd and 4th Tuesday of every month
11 A.M. – 4 P.M.
*Except for December when we are only open the 2nd Tuesday

The Carol’s Baby Pantry honors coupons provided by local organizations given to parents to receive additional items at the Pantry. The coupons are intended to reinforce parental participation in positive parenting opportunities in the community.

Volunteering

Anyone interested in volunteering can call 362-2510, 739-1369 or simply come to the pantry.

Donations

Please consider donating diapers, new or used clean clothing, toys, books, high chairs, and strollers. Churches, community groups, individuals and local businesses are encouraged to make donations, which may be dropped at the pantry on the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays of each month between 11A.M. and 4 P.M.
